"C64 hailing from Toronto is one of my super heroes. He keeps the faith in straight Breakcore music and invests time, money and heart blood in this music. As a Dj, musician and label chief he always searches the boundaries of electronic music and merges styles together to create something new.
Celebrating its ten-year anniversary Low Res Records, the pathbreaking pioneers of Breakcore from Detroit, links up with C64 and his wonderful Drosstik label to release a very special album."

"Lowest Moments" a breathtaking album mixed by C64. Twenty-six tracks, the complete Low Res catalogue mixed perfectly together to a nonesuch journey into the history and magic moments of this great label. Mixing these tracks together to a mix seems to be impossible, but not for C64. He represents the tracks in a new context and let them shine in a new light. A real masterpiece. The timing and sequencing is perfect and the way he merges these tracks together is unbelievable. He leaves each track enough space to show its personality, but he also mixes all together to a great piece of music. A monolithic soundtrack for the apocalypse. I know that a lot of people, think that Breakcore is a musical style that can only be heard in dark cellars and strange guys dancing around - this mix proves that black is white. Intelligent music with message and soul, building headmovies and musical landscapes.
This is a must have - a perfect ten album, not just for those who love Breakcore!
Lowest Moments' (DTK08 / LOW 022) mixed by c64, a split release by Dross:tik Records in Toronto and Low Res Records in Detroit.
