"The man behind the Low Res label offers up this four tracker of tasty electro-flavored machine funk. The first track, "Nerv", opens with pounding, dry-sounding drums that set up a simple martial funk groove. Detailed squeaks and bleeps swirl around the stereo mix as the drums are subtly tweaked and chopped up. Fat synths wash in and out as the tune grows densely around the martial drum beat- suddenly out of nowhere LL Cool J pops in to tell us he needs love. He does not return. The track ends with cheery synth walls morphing into flanged-out bit-destroyed bleepage.

I thought this album was going to be some sort of DJ battle royale. Instead, it's two long-ass mixes by DJ Adjust and The EQ. After digging on this tape for about a month (and deciding that DJ Adjust was the clear cut victor)
